Welcome to the CBS Home Page
The Chailey Bonfire Society was founded in 1966 by a Dr. Jack Palmer, a G.P. practising and living in South Chailey. Over the years our dedicated members and local villagers have worked hard to ensure that the Bonfire Society has provided one of the best firework displays in the county through fund raising events and we now have a thriving Bonfire Society in the village of Chailey. We have two main principle aims: - Provide an annual Bonfire Celebration for the people of Chailey, with a special emphasis on the fireworks display being geared to children.
- Provide and host a Christmas Party for the Senior Citizens who live in the village of Chailey.
We also aim to hold at least ten quality events each year for the purpose of raising funds, as well as entertaining those who participate, while maintaining a high profile in the Village. The Current CBS Committee
